The much-awaited blockbuster film by Funke Ayotunde Akindele Network( FAAN) and Film One Entertainment, BATTLE ON BUKA STREET, will be released in cinemas and other platforms on the 16th of December 2022.
Funke Akindele posted this on her Instagram to set the mood for fans, followers and viewers to anticipate.
In her words, “brace up for the hilarious, captivating, delicious film of the year.” The Funke Akindele & Tobi Makinde film is a directorial effort of Funke Akindele. A 57 seconds teaser was released as well.
The film features A-list actors, such as Funke Akindele, Mercy Johnson, Sola Sobowale, Tina Mba, Bimbo Ademoye and others. The casts are obviously competent actors who will do nothing but bring their A-games to play.
The story is a generational ‘beef’ between wives, children and grandchildren whose interests are in the same nature of business- restaurant. In addition, the multi-ethnic and cross-cultural film depicts street life and daily happenings in contemporary Nigeria.
Excitement is in the air already as fans, followers, and commenters can’t wait to watch this movie. Funke Akindele sure got the result for suspense in everyone.
