REALTIME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FOUR WEEKS RESIDENCY PROGRAMME

BINAIRIAN (Bini Monarchy) Residency Programme has opened up opportunity for folks of all ages who are talented and ready to exhibit these talents under the guidelines of the residency programme.
The Residency Programme is set to be an annual event that would allow artists to explore places and lifestyles that are quite different from their typical situations. This will enhance them to experiment and come up with new ideas and work. The new ideas and work would be influenced by the cultural immersion in the city of Benin (Bini). The Residency Programme is for Film, Arts & Performance.
The Residency is going to run for a period of 4 weeks between May 24th, 2022 to June 24th, 2022 with an offer of a contemporary-artist studio and, an apartment space strategically located within Benin City. Participants for the Residency Programme will be taken around the city during their stay, especially to ancient tourist sites and places, including the Oba’s Palace.
A lot has been put in place to make it a smooth ride for participants of this Residency Programme as the BINAIRIAN RESIDENCY will take charge of accommodation for participants, weekly stipends for feeding, and free vehicles to convey participants around the city for touring.
Meanwhile, participants on their end have roles to play to remain through till the end of the 4-weeks programme. Each participant is required to host two sessions with other art enthusiasts where they would need to talk about their arts, styles, and inspiration. This and more will be communicated to participants after they have been selected.
The BIRIANIAN RESIDENCY PROGRAM is solely powered by RTF (Realtime International Film Festival). Although, it’s initiated by, BLACK PAN (The Pan-African Neo-Classical Movement) and it is facilitated by, PAN-AFRICAN ‘FIVA’ (Pan-African Film Vacation). It’s supervised by the NATIVE DOCTORS (The Pan-African Philosophical Confluence).
