MR LATIN BAGS AWARD AT CRESCENT UNIVERSITY, FANS REACT

Nollywood veteran actor and national President of Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria. (TAMPAN), Mr Bolaji Amusan popularly known as Mr Latin has expressed excitements as he bagged the Justice Bola Ajibola Community award at Crescent University.
Mr Latin revealed how he felt honoured as a recipient of the highly coveted award, which was bestowed upon him at the university’s 16th founders’ day. Following his post on Instagram, his fans, followers as well as colleagues in the movie industry have taken to the comment section to send their congratulatory messages to him .
Mr Latin was born on 15th October, 1966 at Gbongan, the headquarters of Aiyedaade Local Government Area of Osun State, southwestern Nigeria. He is married to Ronke Amusan since 1999 and the marriage is blessed with two beautiful children.
He began acting in 1988 but became famous when he featured in a movie titled 50-50, produced in 1992 by the late Akin Ogungbe. He has produced over 40 movies, mostly comedies. Mr Latin joined Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) in 1989. After an unreconciled leadership tussle that was resolved in favour of a splinter group in Ibadan, Mr Latin went with the likes of prince Jide Kososko, Dele Odule, Adebayo Salami and others to establish a rivalry group later to be named TAMPAN.
The Abeokuta based thespian is the current national President of Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), he succeeded Dele Odule. Before his current position, he has served as the Director for organization and business in the same professional association and also served at local and state levels.
Mr. Latin is the CEO of Mr. Latin TV and Mr. Latin Foundation.
