GET YOUR PVC TO TAKE CHARGE OF NIGERIA- KATE HENSHAW

Latifat Arinola Awoyejo

The multi-talented actor and gym buff, Kate Henshaw has appealed to all Nigerians within the voting age bracket to go and get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), and be ready come 2023 to vote for the candidates of their choice who is capable of turning the fortune of the country for better.

The ever smiling actor made this appeal in a video she released on her Instagram page while lamenting the untold hardship that the fuel scarcity has placed on Nigerians, without any sign in sight for respite.

“We cannot continue like this, things are too bad, what are we going outside to do, you go outside there is no petrol, you stay at home there is no light. What the hell is going on. Nigerians it’s time we take our destiny in our hands go an get your PVC and stop listening to people that tells you that it does not matter, your vote does not count. If it doesn’t count they wouldn’t buy your vote, they wouldn’t steal people’s PVC’s and use it.” she quipped

The delectable actor called out the president for his insensitivity and ineptitude. In her words,  ” It is so shameful and with all due respect, we have Mr President who doubles as the petroleum minister. He has jetted out to go and look after himself. Nobody cares and we are just quiet and we are going to petrol station fighting ourselves looking for a product that is not even there and we don’t even know when it’s going to come.”

The actor however admonished Nigerians to drop the garb of religiousity and and take charge of their lives. “Enough of the prayers, lets just do what needs to be done, because God is not going to come down from heaven and do what we are suppose to do. This country is so rich and prosperous but we are taking all sort of bull crap from people who we elected to represent us, and they are just carrying on like they don’t care.” she lamented

With the tone of frustration and finality,  Kate submits, “I think at this stage, we should all take charge of what we want this country to be. For almost a month now, there has been no petrol. We were told it was bad fuel that was brought in, and then we were told that they would bring good fuel and now its the Russian Ukraine war. No heads have rolled for the bad petrol that came in. Nobody, nothing ever happened, no consequences whatsoever. But we are there managing, managing, managing, manage until we enter the grave.”
