Shoots.ng Abimbola Ifesanya caught up with Ace Nigerian actor, Seun Akindele and the versatile performer answered our organic SLATE 10 questions in a telephone interview.
It’s a concise and punchy appetizer to stimulate your appetite.

SLATE 10: Which among your works is your favorite and why?
Seun Akindele: I have no favourite, this is because I put in the same amount of energy and work into all of my roles.
SLATE 10 : What inspires your creativity?
Seun Akindele: I love what I do.
If you love what you do, I feel there is going to be material creativity attached to it. Because you love it, you want to do it right and do it well. The love I have for the trade and the passion to always do it right is where I draw my inspiration from…and of course from God.
SLATE 10: If you are not doing what you are doing now as a profession, what would you have done?
Seun Akindele: I went to a military school. Air Force military school in Jos. It was an express way to join the military service full time. My love for the military started from there.
If I wasn’t doing what I am doing now, I would be in the service as a military personnel, maybe a fighter pilot.
SLATE 10 : If you could go back in time and tell a younger version of yourself one thing, what will you tell yourself?
Seun Akindele : Invest. Invest. Invest.
Invest in what you know. Invest in properties. Invest in a whole lot…investment cannot be over-rated.
SLATE 10 : If your biography is to be commissioned, what will you prefer as the title and why?
Seun Akindele : Interesting question. I would say “All in one
I will like to be known as an individual who has lived through everything, through thick and thin and who has eventually made a way for himself.
I am someone who has had various kinds of experience, religiously, physically and thus embodies a whole lot to make me the man I am today
SLATE 10 : In your career, what would you like to put straight to the public and for the records?
Seun Akindele : Nothing
SLATE 10 : How do you cope with the opposite sex and what do you have to tell them?
Seun Akindele: I cope well. I appreciate them as much as I appreciate every human being on this earth.
SLATE 10 : What is your most annoying daily routine?
Seun Akindele: I don’t think its healthy for anyone to have an annoying daily routine. What’s the point of inculcating negativity into your daily life? I don’t have any annoying daily routine. If its my routine, then its not annoying.
SLATE 10 : Do you enjoy your celebrity  status?
Seun Akindele: Yes I do, very much. And I am grateful for it.
SLATE 10 : What question haven’t you been asked before? Ask and answer it.
Seun Akindele: (chuckles)this is the first time I am hearing such a question. This is the question I haven’t been asked before.
POST SCRIPT– Seun Akindele is a popular Nollywood cross over actor. He is a round and dedicated performer whose professionalism has fetched him roles in popular films and TV series.
Born in Jos, Plateau state on 7th October, 1983. He hails from Ekiti state in south-west Nigeria.
Seun’s silky voice, well built body structure, role particularization and seamless interpretation of roles endeared him to movie Producers and Directors.
A very popular Seun has featured in more than thirty films and still counting.
Though, he is married, Seun is a man after many lady’s hearts.
